Information We Collect

Boozy collects information to help you find happy hour deals near you. This includes:

• Location data — Your device's GPS coordinates, used to show nearby restaurants on the map. Location is only accessed while the app is open and with your permission.
• Account information — If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address. Signing in is optional.
• Favorites — Restaurants you save are stored in your account so they sync across devices.
• Push notification tokens — If you enable happy hour alerts, we store your device's push token to send notifications.
• Usage data — We collect analytics about app usage (screens viewed, features used) along with basic device information (device type, operating system, app version). This data is associated with your account if you are signed in.

How We Use Your Information

• Display happy hour deals near your location
• Save and sync your favorite restaurants
• Send push notifications about active happy hours (only if you opt in)
• Improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns
• Display relevant advertisements for free-tier users

Third-Party Services

Boozy uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Database and authentication (stores account data and favorites)
• Google Maps — Map display and location services
• RevenueCat — Subscription and payment management
• Expo Notifications — Push notification delivery
• Google AdMob — Advertising for free-tier users. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and device information for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
• Sentry — Crash reporting and error tracking to help us fix issues

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Your Choices

• Location — You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.
• Notifications — You can enable or disable happy hour alerts in the app's Settings screen.
• Ad tracking — You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (including App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
• Account deletion — You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen in the app.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, all associated data (favorites, notification preferences, and profile information) is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Boozy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell your personal information.
